ToNhu Vu, M.D.
ToNhu Vu received her medical education from Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine. She completed an internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a residency in anesthesiology at the New York Hospital — Cornell Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in pain management at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston in 1988. She then became an attending physician at MGH and an instructor at Harvard Medical School, where she also served as the pain management fellowship director. Dr. Vu is board certified in anesthesiology with a subspecialty in pain medicine.
Waleed Shah, M.D.
Waleed Shah received his medical education at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed an internship at Reading Hospital and Medical Center, and his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Shah also completed a pain management fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine.
Fred Flaccavento, M.D.
Fred Flaccavento received his medical education at the University of Maryland, and completed his internship and residency at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. He completed a pain management fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey —Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1996. Dr. Flaccavento is board-certified in anesthesiology with a subspecialty in pain management. He earned the designation of Diplomate from the American Board of Pain Management.
Haitham Al-Grain, M.D.
Haitham Al-Grain received his medical education at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He completed his internship at Maryland General Hospital and his residency at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore. He also completed a pain management fellowship at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in 2010. Dr. Al-Grain is board certified in anesthesiology with a subspecialty in pain medicine.
Joan Haynes, CRNP
Joan Haynes received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing in St. Louis, where she graduated with honors. She received her Nurse Practitioner degree from Walden School of Nursing in Minneapolis. Joan is member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association.
Alex Kelly, CRNP, FNP-BC, MSN, MBA
Alex Kelly is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She began her career as a pediatric-oncology nurse and a perioperative nurse at Apple Hill Surgical Center before transitioning into nursing management. Alex has a baccalaureate degree in nursing and a Master of Business Administration from York College. She also holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program of St. Joseph’s College of Maine.
